Description of the Service
The RICS HomeBuyer survey is also in a standard format devised by the RICS and is similar but not identical to the RICS building survey.
It also includes colour coded Condition Ratings but the information provided in this type of report is less detailed and more concise, concentrating on significant and serious defects.
The fee is less than for the Building Survey and this is a popular service but it is important it is appropriate for the property to be surveyed. It is suitable for modern properties, or older properties which are relatively small, and also for flats, both purpose-built and converted.
Time will be taken to discuss your requirements and the suitability of such a survey and a fee will be confirmed before proceeding.
